1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By registering, accessing, or using any service on the tap2in platform (“the Platform,” “tap2in,” “we,” “our”), you (“you,” “the user”) agree to these Terms and Conditions (“T&C”). The use of tap2in implies your express, full, and unconditional acceptance. If you do not accept any of these terms, you must refrain from using the platform.

tap2in is a product owned by Tap IN App Corp., a company legally incorporated in the United States, responsible for the operation, administration, and development of all applications that make up the tap2in ecosystem.

2. DEFINITIONS

  • End User: A person who uses the app to request services, purchase products, or consult providers.
  • Provider: A natural or legal person registered on tap2in PRO to offer services (professional, general, transportation, etc.).
  • Store: A business registered on tap2in SHOP to offer products and/or services.
  • Video Consultant: A professional offering online consultations via video call (e.g., accountants, immigration advisors, real estate agents).

3. ELIGIBILITY AND REGISTRATION

Use of tap2in is reserved for persons over 18 years of age. Providers, stores, and users must register with truthful information and provide:

  • A valid identification document.
  • A verifiable physical address.
  • Active contact details and payment methods.
  • Any additional documentation depending on the type of service.

3.1 Provider and Store Verification

tap2in verifies the identity of providers but does not guarantee the authenticity of all submitted documents. By registering, providers:

  • Declare that all documents provided are authentic and up to date.
  • Accept that, in case of falsification, tap2in may permanently suspend the account.


4. USE OF THE PLATFORM

4.1 Available Services

  • On-demand services: delivery, transportation, technical assistance, cleaning, etc.
  • Professional services: accountants, lawyers, immigration advisors, etc.
  • Video call services (online consultations).
  • E-commerce (Tap2in SHOP).
  • Mobile payment terminal (Tap2in POS).
  • Classifieds (Buy, Sell, Rent).
  • Nearby business directory (Nearby Business).
  • Family/employee tracking (Tap2in TRACK).

4.2 Limitation of Liability

tap2in acts as an intermediary between users and providers. We are not responsible for:

  • Physical, material, or economic damages resulting from a service.
  • False, inaccurate, or incomplete information published by third parties.
  • Results obtained from video consultations or professional advice.

5. VIDEO CALL POLICY (SINCH)

  • Video calls are managed through the Sinch API.
  • Sharing sexual, discriminatory, violent, or illegal content is prohibited.
  • Consultations must adhere to the allotted time.
  • Requesting payments outside the platform is prohibited.
  • Provider attire must be appropriate, professional, with no logos or offensive messages.
  • Providers must be punctual and use respectful language.
  • tap2in does not record or store video calls.
  • Automatic anti-spam controls are applied: session limits, detection of inappropriate content, automatic suspension.

6. WHATSAPP BUSINESS API AND MESSAGING POLICY
 

  • Only transactional messages, reminders, and support messages will be sent.
  • tap2in never sends spam or promotional messages without explicit consent.
  • Users may disable notifications at any time.
  • Communications comply with Meta’s WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy.

7. “BUY, SELL, OR RENT” SECTION POLICY

  • Publishing fraudulent content, illegal or counterfeit products is prohibited.
  • Users are responsible for verifying and complying with local trade laws.
  • tap2in is not a party to transactions between individuals.

8. “NEARBY BUSINESS” SECTION POLICY

  • tap2in does not guarantee that all local businesses are listed.
  • Information comes from public sources and voluntary submissions.
  • tap2in is not responsible for the experience or availability of these businesses.

9. DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY (GDPR & CCPA)

tap2in is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with:
  • General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679)
  • California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
  • U.S. data protection laws

9.1 Collected Information:

  • Full name, email, phone number
  • Location and IP address
  • Service history
  • Encrypted payment information

9.2 Purpose:

  • Service delivery
  • Improving the user experience
  • Operational and legal communications


9.3 User Rights:

  • Access, rectification, deletion, and objection regarding personal data
  • Request full account deletion

10. PAYMENTS AND COMMISSIONS

  • All payments must be made through the app.
  • tap2in applies a platform usage fee (variable percentage depending on the service).
  • Providers may not request payments outside of tap2in.

11. CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS, AND MISCELLANEOUS FEES

  • Each service has its own cancellation policy.
  • In the event of a dispute, tap2in acts as a mediator.
  • Providers may charge additional fees (with prior approval) for materials or extra time.
  • Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content, logos, trade names, and designs belong to Tap IN App Corp. Any unauthorized use will be sanctioned in accordance with the law.

13. ACCOUNT TERMINATION

tap2in may suspend or delete an account for:

  • Falsification of data
  • Inappropriate behavior
  • Violation of these Terms and Conditions

14. MODIFICATIONS AND UPDATES

tap2in reserves the right to modify these T&C at any time. Continued use of the app after a modification implies acceptance of the changes.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of that State.
